How do I use a Smart Digital Label?

To program and use a Smart Digital Label, all you need to do is point your smartphone camera (in photo mode, not video or other modes) and focus on the QR Code.  Your camera will reveal a clickable prompt once it recognizes the Smart Digital Label.  Click on this prompt and your Smart Digital Label will open for activation or updating.

What are the requirements for using Smart Digital Labels?

To use Smart Digital Labels, you only need your smartphone camera, and an active, working internet connection.  Smart Digital Labels will not work if you are not connected to the internet.

Is there a subscription fee to keep using my Smart Digital Labels?

No!  Unlike other labels on the market, you will NEVER pay a subscription fee to use our Smart Digital Labels.   Once you purchase a package, you can store and retrieve data on your Smart Digital Label forever.

Do I need to create an account to use my Smart Digital Labels?

No, you do not need to create an account or login to use your Smart Digital Labels.  This is designed to ensure your Smart Digital Labels are easy to use and can be shared amongst your friends and family with ease.

Do I need an app to use my Smart Digital Labels?

To ensure ease of use, there is no app provided or required to use Smart Digital Labels

How do I prevent others from updating or taking control of my Smart Digital Label

When you first activate your Smart Digital Label, you have the ability to add an optional 4-digit passcode lock that will prevent anyone from updating your Smart Digital Label unless they have and enter the passcode.  

What happens if I forget the passcode on my Smart Digital Label?

If you decide to add a passcode, don’t lose it!  It cannot be retrieved.  Remember, using the passcode feature won’t prevent you from being able to retrieve the data on your Smart Digital Label, it will just prevent unauthorized updates to your tag.

What sizes of Smart Digital Labels are available?

Currently, we have one size.  Our Smart Digital Labels come in a 1.2” circle sticker format.  We are in the process of introducing new formats soon.

I am connected to the Internet, but I cannot access the Smart Digital Labels site.  Why?

If you are connected to the Internet but cannot access the Smart Digital Labels site, you may be on a private or corporate network that is blocking the Smart Digital Labels site.  Please contact your network administrator.

​Can multiple users use and update my Smart Digital Labels?

Yes!  Since there is no account or login needed, you can use Smart Digital Labels amongst a group of users.

Can I keep a history of updates with my Smart Digital Labels?

Once you activate a Smart Digital Label, you can overwrite or update the label at any time.  When you make an update to your label, it will retain a history of previous updates.  This makes these labels ideal for recording maintenance and service history for various items around your home.

Are the stickers waterproof or weatherproof?

While Smart Digital Labels are not guaranteed as 100% waterproof, Smart Digital Labels are weather resistant and have been tested indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions.

Is the data on my Smart Digital Label secure?

All Smart Digital Label data are secure and is not accessed by any third party is secured in a SOC-2 / Type 2 compliant platform.  SOC-2 / Type-2 compliance assures an industry leading level of security, reliability and availability.

Can I use my Smart Digital Labels for anything?

There are literally hundreds of uses for your Smart Digital Labels, though the usage of your Smart Digital Labels must adhere with our Terms of Service.  Our Terms of Service are designed to ensure that Smart Digital Labels are not used in a way that may jeopardize the technical integrity of our platform and conform with our acceptable use policy.

How do I use a Smart Luggage Tag?

To activate and use a Smart Luggage, all you need to do is point your smartphone camera (in photo mode, not video or other modes) and focus on the QR Code.  Your camera will reveal a clickable prompt once it recognizes the QR Code.  Click on this prompt and your Smart Luggage Tag will open for activation or updating.

What are the Requirements to Activate a Smart Luggage Tag

To activate your Smart Luggage Tag, you will need 3 things when you scan your tag:

  • Your mobile phone’s camera
  • Internet access
  • Short Message Service (SMS) on your phone

Security for your Tag is provided by an SMS message that is sent to your phone.  Without SMS service, you won’t be able to activate or use your Smart Luggage Tag.

Do I have to pay a subscription fee to use my Smart Luggage Tags?

No!  Unlike other labels on the market, you will NEVER pay a subscription fee to use our Smart Luggage Tags.   Once you purchase a package, you can store and retrieve data on your Smart Luggage Tags forever.

Is my Smart Luggage Tag Secure?

Once you activate your Smart Luggage Tag with your information, the tag cannot be modified unless you authorize a change using the text message / SMS lock feature.
